As a parent of two students of Pittwater High School I am very happy to recommend the school. While the school buildings are standard state issue they are set in a beautiful grassed and wooded environment and the feeling overall is one of a space that is well maintained and cared for. Thanks to the extended Pittwater schools community kids can take on a far greater variety of interesting subjects than other smaller private schools in the area. Their music program in particular is outstanding. Often in the end it comes down to the sense of community a school engenders. Both my children were happy and well supported throughout their years here, they made a great bunch of friends, were actively involved in many worthwhile school activities, and exceeded our - and their - expectations with excellent HSC results. Save your private school fund for something else, if you're in the catchment of this school you're very lucky.
