The customer service from Pat was so rude and unhelpful. I would give no stars if possible.
I have bought chemicals from her shop before which I told her. I told her I hand chlorinate my pool and want to continue to do that rather than buy a chlorinator. She then abruptly cut me off and ended the conversation. It felt like she would not help me further if I wasnt wanting to spend loads of money on a chlorinator.

I would just like to reply to this review, you rang me and said you were going on holiday and wanted my advice on how to keep you swimming pool good while away. I advised you to leave off the pool blanket, take out the auto cleaner (in case something got lodged and burn out your pump) I advised to top up the pool and have a friend or neighbour add chlorine and top up the water while you are away, as you manually dose the pool. I asked who you were so I could find your details and pool size but you didn?t give me that information so I could not calculate how much Chlorine you needed each day. As per the below reply from Pat, I was present at the time of your call. She was on the phone for a little while with you and from what she told you I can not fault. I have been in this industry a long time and I can tell you that if you are not going to be able to chlorinate your water daily or at least every 2-3 days over the few weeks you are going away for then you are going to have issues. Pat tried to tell you that a chlorinator or having someone regularly pop in and hand dose is the only way to ensure your water doesn't turn green. Believe me, from one of the main global chemical companies and inventors of anti algae products, without regular sanitation you can't keep your water free of algae.
Most shops would have loaded you up on chemicals and a false belief that this would see you out. She wasn't rude, she was recommending the right advice and following Western Australian health guidelines.
I have always had great customer service at Poolwerx Kingsley. The owner has always carried out my bags of salt to my car even when they are busy and is always willing to spend a bit of extra time explaining things when I need to make changes to the chemicals. Always friendly and helpful.
Worst customer service I have ever encountered. Refused to take 2 minutes out of their day to test our pool water before we let our children swim in it, even after us spending $200 the previous day in there on pool chemicals. The staff said they "hadn't sat down all day" at 11.20 in the MORNING in an empty shop. They are at work, they're supposed to be busy, deal with it. Disgusting service. We had been warned by others who had encountered this appalling attitude from them, we will now be warning other ourselves. If they can't deal with being busy, they should not enter into an industry that is SEASONAL.
