Port Germein Hotel

A very friendly pub indeed!! Great service, many laughs! The meals are good pub quality and you'll never go home hungry. Outside of meal times you can always call in for a cold drink or coffee and cake. The locals are also very friendly and a happy. Meals are available at lunch and dinner time 7 days a week.

If you're around the Port Germein area, then the Hotel is well worth a visit. We were there on a Saturday evening, when it was packed with locals on their way home from their afternoon sports. The bar was crowded, but very friendly and the locals were welcoming of "strangers".

The dining room is quite separate and offers a menu of the usual pub fare, plus a buffet of salads and hot vegetables. Although the quality was nothing remarkable, the meals we had were very tasty and the serves were "country size huge". There are plenty of big screen TVs around the pub, including in the dining area, so I suspect its a good place to watch sport and enjoy a drink.

I'd go back there again any time I'm passing through or staying in the area!
