Very disappointed with service & staff attitude. Ordered vegetarian penne, but given chicken penne. When we told the waitress, she goes but it is penne. After explaining to her 3 times that we asked for vegetarian penne, she took it away. Another waiter bought vegetarian spaghetti. Again we said we asked for vegetarian penne. After repeating it 3-4 times, the same spaghetti came back on the table. They told us that we will have to have the spaghetti now that they have made it. We decided to walk out and they agreed to make what we asked for. Finally we got what we ordered. Food was good. Definitely won’t be going back. The senior staff were very rude.
Went here last weekend, the food was passable, nothing special and the service was ok. Having a pretty good night until I went to the toilet.....the toilets were leaking and there was water all over the floor. Instead of trying to fix the problem table clothes had been put all over the floor to soak up the water, couldn't even shut the toilet door as they were in the way.
omg I wish I had read the review before we went to this dive. Nothing has improved in 8 months!!! The Seafood was off, we should have known something was up, the place was empty and did'nt get any busier while we were there. You would think that 4 people in a kitchen SHOULD be able to guage the freshness of seafood ffs. How they manage to stay in business has got to be the big question here. There should be a licensing body for restaurants and there should be spot checks and minimum standards AT LEAST. I can't believe i have to give this place a 'minimum of 1/2 star. to post. ok, consider it a loan, but I want it back!!
We were very disappointed with both the service and the food at Positano Restaurant. We were served pre-packaged gnocci (as opposed to hand made). The other meals were covered in oil and the meat served was extremely dry. We told them about our dissatisfaction with the meals to be told that it was tough luck. We would certainly not recommend this restaurant to anyone wanting a good Italian meal.
