Horrible experience from the sales representative. Worst customer service.When we bought the car we paid the amount as per their requirements. The lady who was in charge asked to do a Bpay instead of cash pay or credit card payment. The amount was transferred to their account as per her request and she gave the car keys and booklet and asked the sales representative to do the final handover. It was such an insult as the sales representative took the car papers and spare key and told us that he will give it only when the amount is credited to their account. Usually the bank transfers or cheque payments get credited only after few business days which is not at all in our hands. We were happy to pay in cash but we did what they asked for and we got insulted.
Will never ever recommend this dealer to anyone else.
I have purchsed 6 new honda cars over the last 8 years from Dave Potter Honda, and referred my family and friends to Dave Potter Honda. I have each time wasted effort getting a check quote from the other dealers. Each time my experience with Dave Potter Honda has been excellent. Last week we had our Euro and daughters civic serviced and the experience was a delight. Cant say enough good stuff.
Awful experience at this yard!! Spent three hours examining different models, test drove 2 cars and had decided to buy the second, but upon returning were given no chance to negotiate as the salesman lost it, shouted at my pregnant wife and accused us of joyriding and wasting their time. We were just shell-shocked! Never have we seen such unprofessional behaviour. Karma comes around though because the next weekend we bought an identical car at another dealer for $3k less! People looking for a family car will take the time to make sure it fits their needs, but they are dead serious customers. They cost themselves a guaranteed sale.
I refer this dealer to all my friends and family because of my excellent experiences, and none of them have nothing but good to say. Sorry but I dont buy this story
Took my car there for the first time for a standard service because it was convenient and near my work. The staff there were impersonal. My car was washed as part of the service but when I picked my car up and returned to work I noticed they had only washed the topside of my mag wheels so on initial inspection they looked clean.
Second experience regarding engine wire harness product safety recall, they advised it would take up TWO days and I could have a loan car at the cost of $20.00. I contacted Formula Honda at Holden Hill, they booked me in straight away and repaired within half an hour. I will be spreading the "love" regarding this. Word of mouth goes a long way. I recently had an unexpected out-of-warranty problem with my Honda HRV's transmission and while it took a few letters to them and Honda Australia asking for their assistance with the repair costs Honda & Dave Potter Motors put customer loyalty first and helped 100%. It would have been more re-assuring if they had done that in the first instance but it all worked out in the end and I would confidently buy another Honda from them.
