Worst service in Australia. Dont call these crooks. Very disappionted. They came to clean our carpet on thursday 30th september 2017. Gave us a quote for $140 but then the guy they sent Elias told us $270. Ive called the office and he became furious shoutting on me why you called our office and then he said anyway I have started the job and you have to pay me. Very rude and unprofasional.
Very disappointed with Puredry. It took 5 phone calls to chase up regarding a complaint. Victim blamed me for having fleas in my carpet after steam clean and 'flea treatment' and took no responsibility. They begrudgingly agreed to have one room re-treated, and now I've found out that the reason it needed to be 're-treated' was because it wasn't treated properly by their contractor, who obviously isn't trained in this product, to start with! Poor customer service and management. Lee, the general manager, never got back to me even when asked, however after a few weeks I got finally through, and she finally offered me a partial refund, which wasn't adequate. Now her email is bouncing.
Happy to warn people against these guys after such a horrible experience, despite using them previously.
Have reported them to Consumer Affairs Vic and ACCC. If you've had a horrible experience with them I'd encourage you to do the same - power in numbers.
15/12/2015 - Used their Brisbane branch yesterday for a disapointing job.
Quote said "pre vac" (dirt was pushed to the edges instead). Ruber backed Matts were washed but then put BACK down on wet carpet (not damp - WET carpet) instead of on a dry area.
Rush job with 90sqm including moving some chairs in about an hour for $231.75. I rang to speak to Sarah about quality of the job - who was going to get Lee to call back - in the meanwhile a Debra rang 3 times chasing payment.
I rang back and spoke to Lee finally. The "prevac" is part of the machine cycle - not an actual prevacuum. I paid for the job to finish this farce.
24 hours later carpet still wet.
My reccomendation? - DONT USE THEM: Poor job, poor service, not very good on following up with subcontractors but VERY good on chasing their money.
I had my stairs, and lounges cleaned. The person arrived late, and spent 45 minutes cleaning - suffice it to say they did a half-baked job. They cleaned most of the stairs and left bits here & there, mostly edges and corners. Some heavy duty old stains were lifted, but new small stains (yogurt with no artificial colouring) were not. The same yogurt stains were lifted out of the lounge though. Got charged an extra $110 for 'sanitising', surely the 'cleaning' would sanitise? The lounges aren't very old and didn't come up looking very clean, some bits were done thoroughly and others weren't touched, much like the stairs. The 'non-toxic' products gave 2 members of my family sore itching watering eyes and inflamed their eczema, the smell also hung around for 2 days, and the lounges took forever to dry. When we asked the cleaner when we could use the lounges again, they replied with 'You can sit on them now if you like, if you want a wet bum'. So we never got a proper ...read more
Oh my, what a waste of time!!!
Did not call in approach (as advertised) was told that "they will call if they have mobile reception"
Did not offer the options for type of cleaning (as advertised) they have already started cleaning and I had to ask.
Immediately tried to up sell us immediately with (antibacterials).
We were immediately told that all stains were not removable before they started.
Booked for a lounge and dining room chairs and were told that they could not clean them so don't bother. Apparently you cannot clean cotton fabric!
Unprofessional
Rude telephone staff
Used a round pad that cannot get into the corners and is too large to fit under any furniture.
Clearly these people do not understand the importance of perception. They answer the phone "Australia's best carpet cleaners" and right there they are setting themselves up for failure. If the reality is what I experienced then no one will ever be happy.
