I don't usually like to leave very bad reviews but will make an exception here. QBE is a terrible travel insurance choice! I booked a holiday overseas and took out QBE travel insurance. I normally take out trsvel insurance for overseas trips to cover the unexpected. My flight to Sydney was delayed by bad weather. I was unable to continue on my journey as the next flight out was in four days time and hotels were booked out and I needed to get back to work. I was unable to get flight back to Melbourne and had to upgrade to Business Class or book into a hotel. I decided to book a return flight in Business. Qantas was great and let me use office phones and tried to help me here. The policy document said I was covered for damage arising out of "missed connections" So I was shocked when my claim was denied. When I called, I was told to read the policy document.
