There are many markets across Melbourne but there is only one Queen Victoria Market. Where you can buy a sextant (my preference) for less than half what a regular store would sell it for, or clothing, or foot ware, art, carpets, bags... What an amazing range. AND you get exercise when you walk up and down every aisle.
This market has been operating in Melbourne for many, many years. It is almost like a national icon for fresh food shopping. Most of the shops are located outdoors in the open and the stuff they sell range from fresh food, produce, leather belts and leather related items, souvenirs, toys or basically anything. It is great for people that are new to the area or if you are a local for grocery and fresh food.
