Questacon-The National Science and Technology Centre

Okay. So you suffered through Parliament, the War Memorial and possibly a museum or two, and now you're up for a tourist activity in Canberra that's actually fun? Questacon is your bestest bet. The national science and technology centre is comprised of eight themed galleries, including topics such as the environment, motion, the science behind sideshows & amusement parks, water, and even one for little tackers too young to appreciate the rest of it. Everywhere you turn there is some sort of fascinating interactive activity or perplexing display to delight and amuse. These range from low-tech set-ups such as building blocks and pulleys to high-tech adventures including an earthquake simulator, a humanoid robot capable of impersonating celebrities, a rocket and an air-harp.
