Rainbow Meat

The selection of meats here always looks fresh and appealing. Also the marinade meats are my favourite to shop for. I could easily marinade my own meat but at times when you are only cooking for 2 you don't want to open a whole jar of marinade sauce when you can buy just a few pieces that are already marinade. Rainbow meats have a good selection and i'm always happy to come back. I like their ordering system with the ticket numbers and i can see why they needed to put that in place because of how busy they get. And not to mention, they had Manu from My Kitchen Rules there one time to help out on one of the days, of course to promote their store as it was new in Highpoint Shopping Centre earlier. A butcher that has everything as a 1 stop is really just makes it a better shopping experience than going to several different butchers for different meats or items. Service is quick and staff are happy to always answer questions and suggest as well.

I was at the shopping centre over the weekend, although Ive walked passed this store on several occasions have never gone in up until recently. I have only just recently discovered that they have a number of stores across Melbourne from Caroline Springs, Chadstone and a few other locations. It was hard not the miss the discount price for the chicken breast without skin for $6.99, whilst everywhere else would be selling it for approximately $10.99+. It was a great discount, in reviewing their other meats and prices; they were similar to most other butchers and the major supermarkets. Whats great about these guys are the products appear to be fresh, this is quite obvious in the colour of the red meat displayed, as on many occasions the colour of the pre-packaged meat the major supermarkets are quite questionable on how long theyve been sitting there. Great shop, worth dropping in to have a look at what they have when youre in the centre!
