Landlords be warned! They were very nice in the beginning but they misled me on important information such as the duration of the lease signed until the tenants were moving out and I asked why they were breaking the lease and then I was told the lease was actually for only 6 months not 12. There are always mistakes on their monthly statements where they either overcharged something or underpaid the rent and you have to spend to time to audit the statements closely each month.They overcharged one of the fees and agreed in writing to reimburse it but when I exercised my rights to terminate the management agreement with them, they called this an unethical action and then refused to reimburse the overcharged fees. The agent called to lecture me for 15 min and then actually refused to keep talking to me to try to resolve the matters in dispute. I am very pleased with the service that Raine and Horne provide to me. They manage one of my properties and have been for many years. I always feel comfortable dealing with the property managers as they are all friendly, down to earth and approachable, rather than too busy or uninterested,unhelpful like other agents have been. I have had 2 great tenants.

I can honestly say I have had tremendous service and assistance from the R&H team in renting out my property.. I never realised one could review an agent, until I happened upon this site.
Raine & Horne Strathfield appears to be entirely, a family run business and it shows in their manner when dealing with clients, like myself.
My property was vacant for only a few days before a good tenant was found, and when they left after 3yrs, another tenant was waiting in the wings.
My rent arrives on time. Incidentals are taken care of by the team, and any repairs are quickly and expediently carried out. The tenant is happy (well they have been renting for years now) and so am I. What more can one ask for?

I have had a positive experience with this agent having dealt with them as a tenant for a time.I found them to be courteous with issues or query I had which they either actioned or gave me direction with.I understand how one could be cynical of the typical real estate agent but they were helpful and pretty good with me and I will be recommending them to others.

Went to these guys to place a tenant in on of my rental properties. On the surface they appeared to be the goods, but in the space of 3 weeks they sent me only one candidate, and this was one that didn't match the profile of person we discussed and was below the rent I was asking for. I changed to another agent and had 3 matching candidates within a week. My impression is they are just filling their books with stock and are not at all proactive. This is probably typical, unfortunately, but keep looking As I found, there are good agents out there.
