Absolutely dreadful! Only takeaway open in Rosedale after 7pm on Friday of long weekend. Decided not to stop at other fastfood in Traralgon and for a change grab a bite at a local small business. Ordered at 7.16pm (time on docket). Not a large order and the shop was busy so expected a bit of a wait. However at 8pm still no sign of our order. Enquired and told it was cooking. At 8.15 with still no sign of our order I requested a refund. This was given with no acknowledgement from management or apparent consideration to us or my young grandson. Thank goodness for the other fastfood in Sale. I won't be stopping at The Red Rose or recommending this business to any other people travelling through Rosedale. My recommendation..........keep going!
Hi Weekend traveller, I am sorry for your experience, I have just been made aware of your comment and I am one of the owners, at the time you came we were trying to give young people and local people of Rosedale jobs and whilst there is no excuse for the empoyees to forget peoples food, which we highlight to the staff continually that customers come first as they are the reason we have staff and jobs, I know my husband does get disappointed when this happens, but we hope that mistakes that staff make, will not deter people from coming to a shop that supports local people and young people in our town who sometimes find it hard to travel over 25 kms either way to Sale ot Traralgon to experience work, so once again sorry for your bad experience and I will bring this up to the staff when we talk with them.
