We tried this shop yesterday as we had heard from ???? that it was very good - wrong. We had snapper and chips. The fish (frozen?) was over cooked and the crumbed coating was tough and tasted of oil that had been there all day. I tried to give it to a lovely old dog that was hanging around and not even she would touch it. Threw it in the bin. Chips were not much better - dry........
Will stick to our little fish and chip shop down at Victoria Point!
They started off with reasonable prices and good quality but now....
Their 'salad bar' consists of your choice of 3 creamy soggy salads or a dry, wilted greek salad. The sales assistant gave me a pained "no" when I asked if they had any fresh green salad.. (ie. lettuce tomato cucumber).
My order of a piece of grilled salmon with a soggy, creamy salad, came to $21.50.
Extremely expensive for a fish and chip shop, and not great quality for your money either.
They are way over priced and poor quality.
Our local shop charges $17 for the same meal (not $$20/21).
