I'm happy to say that more recent visits here have been much better. The food quality has remained good, now the chef sends out a complimentary appetiser, which is a nice touch. Dinner is still good - great flavours and fresh ingredients. Soup of the day is consistently good. My favourite dish at the moment is the Pear, Goats Cheese, Arugula and Pomegranate Salad - nice flavours with beautifully poached pears. Service is very much better so it's a pleasure to dine here.#reviewtowin

Went here for a Christmas lunch buffet. The food was top quality and so tasty! Need to go back again!

This restaurant could be excellent if a couple of things were improved. I had dinner here. The staff are great and very accommodating - there was no problem to bring me a cushion because I found my chair uncomfortable. I had to wait a few minutes to order, then waited, waited, waited ... after about half an hour my Pumpkin Soup arrived. I think that was too long to wait for an entree. It was delivered in a huge white bowl, with the soup just a puddle at the bottom, almost lost in the real estate of the plate. I thought this looked pitiful and the soup, whilst quite tasty, was meagre and not hot enough. Admittedly, a warm dinner roll (with plastic pack of butter, ick) accompanied it. My main came a lot quicker, thankfully - but once again, on a gigantic plate. The seared blue cod looked rather desolate, even with its gourmet companions - asparagus, potatoe and vine tomatoes.
