Reef Lodge, Townsville's most central backpackers hostel and best budget accommodation in Townsville. Reef Lodge is situated in the centre of the city. It has everything you need for a great stay in the Capitol of North Queensland. With the CBD, Greyhound bus, Oz Experience and Magnetic Island ferry terminal all within 500m of the Reef Lodge. The Aquarium Reef HQ, Museum and Cultural Centre are just over the road. Just 5minutes around the corner is 2.5 km of beautiful beach front called "The Strand". Reef Lodge is not a party hostel and we have built our reputation on being a quiet, laid back hostel where you can chill out and recharge.

We stayed at reef Lodge backpackers for 3 days. This was a great location
in the middle of the city and it was just short walk to the beach. We found this backpackers very clean, well looked after and quiet. Owners were very friendly and helpful, which was a welcome change to some we've stayed in! If we do this again, then we will definitely be staying at the Reeflodge Backpackers Townsville :)
