Remo's Italian Cuisine

Went here for dinner 10/11/2012 and found the food absolutely delicious. Vegetarian risotto was exceptional. My dinner companions had steak, which was done to their tastes, and fantastic, and veal scallopini which was excellent. Service was pretty good too...We will definitely be going again...Also noticed that there were a lot of people picking up their takeaway from that side of the business. So it must be good. Well done... :)

The Garlic Bread was like the packet ones you buy from Woolworths not homemade, The Chicken Parmagina I had was unedible and The Chicken in the Danny's Special Elise had was too dry so she couldn't eat hers eitther also the food took too long to come out so we will not be going back there anymore.

The Food was delicious and it is a lovely environment. Unfortunately the service was terrible. Waited too long for food and were only offered drinks on arrival. The restaurant was not very busy so this was disappointing.

After waiting for 30mins for my steak to arrive - my 2 friends were almost finished their meals by the time it arrived, I couldn't eat my burnt steak so sent it back. Had to wait another 40 mins only to find I couldn't eat the second one as it was also over-cooked. There was only our table and one other in there at the time so they weren't rushed. When I said I wasn't paying for it they told me I would be and after a fight they said they would take it off the bill but we weren't welcome back - not sure why they thought we would ever go back. I also explained to them that if they looked at the amount I had eaten from the 2nd steak they could clearly see I had taken 2 bites. One of the staff behind the register then proceeded to tell us to **** off, get the **** out right now' so we started to walk out when they said they were calling the Police becasue we had paid. I love authentic Italian and these guys have got it...yum ! All made on premises and the restaurant has a nice big Italian feel to it with a view out the back of a nice little garden area. The service is great and very friendly.You feel like part of the family when you walk through the door and when you leave you want to go back again to visit the people who made you feel like you belonged there .
