Ribs And Rumps
8 Dawn Fraser Ave
Sydney Olympic Park, NSW, 2127
Waitress was nice and friendly and the food came out at a reasonable rate but it expensive
We had the pork ribs and the premium pork ribs, the former is small in size and doesn't really have meat at the back of the bone, the latter is the big size ones you get at Hurricanes
They were both a little burnt and it was just a little above average, the sauce is nice but not as thick as Hurricanes
It's busy for a weeknight and parking is easy as long as there isn't a event on
I go here for the big chunks of meat. I mean is there any other reason to?
They know their meats and they do them well.
You get your choice of steak, lamb, chicken, pork - you can have ribs, rump or a combination. There's even the whole challenge of eating a kilo of steak and ribs to become a VIP!
That last bit is a bit too much for me, but hey, apparently others have tried where I fail at the sheer mountain of meat.
I've also eaten their fish mains and they are grilled to perfection as well.
Oh and their cocktails are quite the nom.
It can turn out to be a pricey night if you are having drinks as well, but honestly, sometimes the meat is worth it.
The wait staff are friendly and attentive. What more could you ask in a meat, meat and more meat restaurant?

The Lowdown: The atmosphere was nice, presentation was great, and the basting sauce was delicious. Unfortunately though, my beef ribs, which I was sorely looking forward to, came out slightly under warm. They were also not quite as tender as I'd have liked, and the quantity was underwhelming. It was a disappointing experience. Though, I don't believe this is a regular occurance here and hope that my experience was just an outlier.

~$50 full rack (1kg noted on menu)
Located on Dawn Fraser Avenue close by to the ANZ Stadium, it has prime location when any sporting events or concerts are on. Only problem with parking close by is that most are 15 or 30 minutes at most. Park slightly further away and you can park for 2 hours for free.
Visited for lunch and it was humming with lots of families (it was a bit noisy with the family behind us...you wouldn't want to come here on a weekend lunch thinking it'd be peaceful!). The lady serving our table with really nice and helpful. She made sure we were fine and that was lovely. ...read more
