Rice's Bookshop

It can be a little annoying always stumbling on second-hand book shops when you basically have only a limited amount of space in your bags. However, since I always have to visit them, and at least buy one book, I decided that it would certainly be worth checking out. Well, there didn’t seem to be a huge amount on offer here, at least from what I could see, but it still sells books, and the fact that it sells books, and second-hand books at that, means that I’m going to give it some points at least.

I rang today to check to see if they carried a book and the gentleman i spoke with was sooooo rude! He even hung up on me eachtime I called because I questioned him on his rudeness! I gave him the benefit of the doubt calling 3 times and each being as rude as the last! I echo the other person who reviews them, I will never give them business (he even told me he didn't care for it) nor will I recommend them to anyone. First impressions are everything and this had left the worst impression I could ever get from a business! They would get zero stars from me if this review allowed me to post that!

The staff who worked in this store today was rude to my 11 year old son as he,being a curious boy touched a record player he shouldn't have.I didnt appreate this rude manner as the staff basically yelled at my son. I will never go back to this store. I experienced the rudeness years ago too but I always like to give people the benefit of the doubt. I have warned friends not to take their children to this store if they have to go here. Appalling way to run a business.
