I came paas this chinese restaurant as it is just around the corner from my new place. I decided to give it a shot one lazy night and ordered takeaway. It didnt look that busy from the outside but when i walked into pick up my order saw that there were quitea few tables seated and people waiting for takeaway. Seemed quite popular. The food i ordered was pretty okay and tasty. Decently priced too. I wil be ordering from here again i am sure.
If you're anything like me, I am always unsure about eating at little suburban Chinese restaurants unless I have had a recommendation. This is our local and we have been eating here since moving to the area in 1999. They open at 5pm and quite often are engaged when you ring so I try to ring at 4.55pm! I must admit we are not adventurous when ordering, we have found our favourite dishes and find it hard to deviate because we enjoy them so much! We order satay beef- it has all the elements you would want in a flaming satay beef Creamy, peanut-y, a little chili/spicy and coconut-y- we have not had better elsewhere. Beef with cashews- is yum- I always get them to add extra chilli- love it.Any king prawn dish you order is jam packed full of large prawns. Our young children love the lemon chicken. Good one. They answered the phone!! Apparently all of their meals are pre-packaged and you can't change the menu to remove or add as you choose! And my partner says don't get the lemon chicken.
Not my experience - I don't eat bean sprouts and they are always make me fried rice/noodles etc. without them so stuff does get cooked fresh.
Everytime I have visitors from interstate, I always bring them to this place. Nice food, nice people, reasonable prices - what more could you want? They can always accomodate even if the house if full.
This is one of those unremarkable little Chinese Takeaway shopfronts that hides a great little restaurant. You can see by the number of people coming and going to the takeaway counter how popular this place is. Good food, hearty helpings, very reasonable prices. The lunch takeaway specials are hard to beat.
