Ripples Cafe
Located in one of the most envious positions in Sydney is Ripples Café. It is located outside the North Sydney swimming pool with stunning and interrupted views of the Harbour, Opera House and the Sydney Harbour Bridge. Apart from the phenomenal views Ripples boasts friendly service with innovative fresh food. The menu features flavours from the Mediterranean and Asia. It is restaurant styled food presented in casual café style dinning.

I visited with a large group (20 ish) on a Saturday before Christmas and we were told to arrive and be seated before a certain time. We all arrived, very punctually, and we were made to wait for ages! That was pretty annoying since we had all been so strongly instructed to be early. We sat outside, under a plastic awning. There was also some indoor seating available. Service was friendly and prices were moderate. Food was adequate and the location is lovely.
Located by the water in the shadow of the Sydney Harbour Bridge, this cafe really does have a special feel to it. We had a group breakfast here, you can't book but the waiters were helpful and let us call up in the morning to 'remind' them of our large group coming. Breakfast choices are a-plenty from bircher muesli to the full 'Ripples Breakfast' of eggs, roasted tomatoes, mushrooms, bacon and more.
If I could start breakfast every morning at Ripples, I would be pretty spoilt... I would highlight recommend you try it! If you have visitors to Sydney, this is where I would take them!
The best thing about this restaurant is the ambiance. The food is average, and depending on the time of day the staff can be rude. I went here for a late breakfast, and felt like I was an inconvenience as they were trying to prepare for lunch. The eggs were overcooked and rubbery, and the toast was cold. At least the coffee was nice!
