Rising Sun Hotel

I've been here a few times over the years. The food is good and the staff are friendly. They have a big band on Tuesday and jazz on Thursday, if you like live music with a meal you should go check it out.

This was a nice little pub hidden away in the leafy streets of South Melbourne, though it is also seemed quite popular since it was pretty crowded when I got here. Unfortunately for me I was a couple of minutes too late to score a cheap Corona. However, while I was sitting out the front having my beer I noticed a number of guys playing a game on their mobile phone which was a little (or should I say a lot) like celebrity heads. Mind you, they weren't all that good at it because the total score between the lot of them was zero.

had a farewell party held here with one of my colleagues. really had fun staying for an hours and drinking some great wines flowing around each sides. thumbs up!

Friendly staff and great food. Steaks are fantastic
