Excellent service, could not be happier!
The Roadways staff answered my questions and made sure I had all of the information in advance. I was advised that the goods would be delivered in 5 days and that is exactly what happened.
On time / in perfect condition and undamaged.
Thank you to all that were involved in my move, especially John & Stuart, they were great guys as well as being very careful with our stuff.
Roadways Removals what a DISGUST! Roadways Removals didn't even show up for the removal - but they took my money. They delayed me again and again, until I was forced to book through another company. And then when I asked for a refund, it was my own fault that I cancelled the booking and they took all my money. In fact, I never cancelled - they never showed!! Be careful of their rude contractors who ring you and harass you throughout the day! And their manager will never answer your phones or emails (if you can get them to answer!!). Stay away from this company, they will cause you nothing but trouble and heartache - and they make sure you pay for it from your hip-pocket!!
I was told about Roadways Removals by a close friend who had recently used them to move from Townsville to Sydney. I searched online to find reviews and they were all absolutely horrible, but I was told it was now under new management so taking my friends advice I requested a quote along with a handful more to other removalists, Within 3 hours I received a reply from Roadways and the price was okay but I wanted to compare it to the others as well. Needless to say out of 7 quotes requested I only received 3. Roadways was the 2nd cheapest. The next day I received a phone call from lanie who is the new manager of roadways. After a brief chat I explained I had been given a cheaper quote thinking that would be the end of the conversation but she went on to not only beat it by $100 but she gave me a handful of dates around the date I needed to move, which was helpful. Had the worst moving experience with Roadways Removals. They sent a contractor who made us pack our own goods, then subsequently disappeared for two days before delivering our goods at a different address - however still charged us for everything! Roadways provided no communication or assistance to us and stopped answering our calls when our goods went missing and never contacted us to resolve the issue. Very unprofessional and disappointing.
They did exactly the same to me. They have to pay! They cannot keep getting away with it!
