We were moving House, we booked with this company & had confirmation via text, the time & date. The day & time came... NO REMOVALISTS! Tried ringing ALL DAY, Phone was off...finally got on to him at the end of the day... said he couldn't do it... I HAVE SINCE LEARNT THAT VIA FACEBOOK, IT IS THE SALE STORY, PEOPLE HAVE BEEN OVERCHARGED , DAMAGED FURNITURE (Lucky them for getting him to actually turn up in the First place! ).
IF YOU BOOK THEM, THEY WILL EITHER NOT TURN UP, OVERCHARGE YOU OR DAMAGE SOMETHING. ONE TO AVOID.
We had to end up hiring a truck...caused a lot of stress to us.
The people who bought our house, used 1800 Removals , they were brilliant & helped my husbandout...

used rocket last time i moved house, very happy with the service, booking etc. and they guys that showed up on the day were polite, and fast.
made moving which is usually a nightmare, easy as

Very DISAPPOINTED! they took my fence out and refused to pay or even help repair it. They promised for a month to help fix it but it never eventuated and I ended up having to pay $500.00 to get it fixed. NEVER AGAIN WILL I USE ROCKET REMOVALS!!!!!!!!

Oh dear, yet another business who forgets that every customer needs to be treated as if they are a new customer. No matter how many hours they have worked that day already, or how many years they've been in business, NOONE deserves the anger dished out by them for a simple query about the sudden change in time, price, and personnel. For your infomation, Rocket Removals, when circumstances change, the customer who booked the job would like to know, especially when it comes to the price quoted, the time the job will take and the amount of people who will be there for the job. Thanks for the lesson learnt. We won't be using or recommending your services again.

We were very disappointed with our recent Rocket Removal Experience. Management quoted us $800 to $1000 by phone to move us from our 4 bed-roomed house a distance of 44.7kms. We were happy with the quote and paid a $500 deposit. Management had 2 opportunities to check the extent of our belongings, firstly when they delivered packing boxes, and secondly when they picked up our unwanted items for charity. On the second occasion we questioned if the truck would be big enough, they said it would but they did not physically go through the house and check. End result - we were forced to agree to a second loading. Management acknowledged their mistake of not checking the extent of our belongings but would not compromise on our offer to meet them half-way on the extra $740 they charged over and above the original max quote of $1000. Management's staff were friendly and apologetic regarding our situation but seemed in no hurry to get the job ...read more
