It did take me a while to get to this place, because it does happen to be quite out of the way, but honestly, I did actually like this pub. It just had that really friendly and welcoming atmosphere, something that does seem to be lacking in some of the country pubs. In fact, I found that the staff were quite friendly, despite the lack of beers on tap. It was certainly a nice place to relax.
Stopped in on our way through and was really impressed. The hotel was family friendly in service and the menu. The garden area was great for the kids and we felt welcome and at home. Recommend it to families passing through and living locally, thanks again to Wilco for a pleasant lunch!
