Absolute must go when you have kids, only average rating as the prices are outrages and we will not be able to afford going more than once every second year. If you are coming by car and need to pay for parking, plus tickets for 4 including food and easter show bags you are looking at easily $ 250....
This never disappoints for a big long family day out. We went on the last day which is also children's day and with a little one or worked perfectly. It wasn't too busy, and rides were two for one. Many of the animal events were long gone but there was still plenty to enjoy. All the rides were open and of course the pavilion.
This is an annual event and it never fails to disappoint. My favourite is the woodchopping competition and every year it gets better.
You can save up for this to give yourself or your family a memorable visit.
We have attended all day and after 4PM and still there is more to see and do and enjoy.
There is plenty to do for free if you pack lunch and pay only for the entry fee and maybe a few showbags or you can do it in style and go cashed up.
The carnival and food hall is always a winner and show bags arena is a must do even if you have to queue.
It really is a magical place and something for all ages.
Sydney Royal Easter Show is extremely expensive! I cant say my bank account enjoys us taking my kids here during the holidays but there are definitely good times to be had by all. The fresh food stand Woolworths sponsors each year is fantastic for the older more mature generations, oysters wine and cooking demos!
There is a petting zoo for the kids as well as plenty of animal and wood chopping events to occupy your time. Biggest negative is the price you pay for a few minutes on these silly rides. I believe it cost me $21 for a 40 seconds ride at one stage! OUTRAGEOUS!! Show bags are also pretty expensive as well.
