Let's put aside all the emotive stuff for a moment about what wonderful work they do to protect animals, etc etc. I love them for that and donate as much as I can. BUT.. Consider their clinic model: They make no attempt to give a patient continuity of personal care - ie. seeing the same vet every time you go back. I can understand that. But it means that each time you go back, it\'s like a lucky dip. You run the risk of having your animal examined\/diagnosed by someone whose skill level can range from zero to high. Which means they are fine for the standard procedures (desexing\/vaccinations\/etc) - but if you care about your animal you should pass them by for anything more ...read more
The lovely and helpful staff here at the RSPCA, provide a safe and careful enviroment for your special animals in the most important times. It's hard leaving your loved pets; but in their capable hands these staff members are able to fix, mend and help recover most problems your little ones get into. Your pet is as happy as pie to see you when you pick them up, and you can tell through their eyes that their needs have been met through the fantastic staff here.
