Open every Saturday & SundayLaverton Rubble & Riches Market is situated in Laverton on about 14 hectares and has 1,400 stalls and 1,000 car-spaces nearby.
There is a huge outdoor area, with stalls selling secondhand and new items at unbelievably low prices.
The undercover area consists of two 3,500 square metre pavilions with stalls selling everything from clothes to hardware and fruit and vegetables.
While browsing, you can grab a doughnut or quick snack from one of the many food vans.

I don't know of any other indoor and outdoor weekend markets in Melbourne that are bigger or busier than Laverton Market. I go there every weekend to grab lunch and get my fruit and vegies for the week.
Just too busy---I now park in the huge carpark next door and walk in. It's free to park all day and saves me time and petrol waiting to get in and out.
