Ruffino's On The Terrace

Happened upon Ruffino's by accident one afternoon(the restaurant we had intended on going to was closed).....quiet, but food was great. Service was friendly, and genuine...which is a nice change from some other places I've been to. Will definitely return again:)

Well it was a fantastic day visiting Mandurah and we came across Ruffino's. There was 4 of us and we were seated inside. We ordered antipasto as we like the Italian. We got 4 slices of cheddar, 4 ham, 4 mortadella, small pce of lettuce with pickled capsicum in it, Nothing like Italia. For a main we selected there top Pizza as I love gourmet Pizza's, we got the most revolting pizza we have ever tasted. When we went to pay our $112.00 which included corkage the staff asked how the meal was?? when I gave the staff the truth, staff looked at me and said nothing. DON'T EVEN LOOK AT THE PLACE, go next door to Eagle boy's, will be better.

Went to Ruffino's on sunday night, ordered the ravioli, very nice meal, quite a good serve, the sauce was very beautiful, tasted like home made, nice relaxing night, not many people in the place, i recommend u give Ruffino's a go, there menu is not bad, a good selection of pasta dishes, pizzas, some chicken dishes and steak dishes too, friendly staff.

The wait staff are working hard to make you feel welcome, but the food makes you disappointed. The depth of flavour that you expect from italian food is missing, and the plates are poorly presented. As for the salad... really basic and not up to expected standards.

Unfortunately, it was so bad that I felt compelled to come home and create a log in just to put in my review.

The staff were nice enough. We did have to wait quite some time to order drinks and the waitress would not take our food order as it was someone else's responsibility. The sparkling wine selection was poor (1 bottle that is ghastly sweet) and the food was dreadful
