Great food, friendly service and a beautiful area close to the river and a fun playground for the children is directly across the road in sight. My family and I stay at Clayton Bay a few times a year, and we never miss a visit without going to Sails. Great restaurant which happens to be in a very calm, relaxing town of Clayton Bay. If you're in the area, you won't regret getting lunch, dinner or even takeout. Highly recommended!
Customer service lacking. After placing drinks on counter and ordering a meal I paid with eftpos only to be told by the staff member that they had not placed a drink on the total. Staff asked for an extra $3.80 and I had no cash. I offered to pay with another eftpos transaction only to be told that there was a ten dollar minimum.I questioned the minimum and asked if it could be waived this once due to the staff error and was told that the eftpos does not even work under $10. I was told to buy more up to the minimum or I couldn't have the drink. I then asked to be refunded for everything and was told again saying that eftpos transactions cannot be refunded. At this point I asked the staff member to seek management. Staff returned with the management who then rudely stated in a raised voice that I could have the drink and that I shouldnt be rude to her staff members.
