Going to a salon in the Eastern Suburbs was quite daunting but once I walked in the door of Scivetti Hair, Fabian and the team made me feel at home. After being greeted I enjoy a great coffee on the sunny balcony... I look forward to the head massage but my favourite part is the rinse down at the end! I feel like a new man every time I walk out that door. (PS Fabian is a beautiful man and an awesome hairdresser).
Scivetti is the Cafe del Mar of hairdressing without the pretentiousness and try-hard arrogance of the Eastern Suburbs.
If you want to get effortless beach blonde highlights whilst chilling in the most relaxing and stylish environment (Florence Broadhurst and friends) with a glass of Sav Blanc from Orange listening to Tosca, this is the place to go.
Another hidden gem of Sydney.
I have been a faithful customer of Scivetti's for almost 5 years now, since coming to the salon in search of a much-needed hair intervention in 2008 after a particularly disastrous hair cut in London (a bad souvenir from a trip overseas). Fabian sat me down in front of the mirror, took one look at my distressed locks, and thankfully managed to work a miracle with his scissors and magic bowl of bleach. After a short few months of visiting the salon, my blonde 'do was promptly returned to its former splendor - with extra gloss and health! Now I can't imagine ever going to another hairdressers - I love my regular bi-monthly visits, where I'm always treated to a latte, and a lovely scalp massage, before walking out of the salon feeling a million bucks! Thanks Scivetti :)
