Seahorse World

Very educational and interesting for the young and not-so-young. Excellent tour guide, must have only been 19 or 20 - very informative and patient with our group, giving us the option of moving along or remaining a little longer at each exhibit. Interesting selections of gifts at the gift shop. Picked up an excellent book (non-seahorse related), which was signed by the Tasmanian author.

A great place to take the kids to see sea horses and sea life.

Price is quite high though for a family.

Could not commend Seahorse World more on its educational value, both for children and adults alike, nor recommend it enough to anyone. We have not experienced so much learning in such a brief amount of time in any aquarium style centre before. This really is a one of a kind experience. The 17yo guide who took our private little group through was well trained, and certainly had myself laughing at his quick retorts to some very tongue in cheek remarks. He was incredible at what he does, informing whilst entertaining with quick wit and a friendly warm nature. The highlight of course was getting to see the baby seahorses and their growing patterns in first months, and also being able to hold them. I was just so completely impressed with the centre; we all were!Thank you for the experience and the education.
