This has to be by far the worst restaurant I have ever been. The wait staff are beyond rude, in fact abusive, small portion, overpriced, dirty, mediocre food, cash only .. I could go on and on...
The moment you enter, you will not be recognised by any wait staff, they will look at you and walk right past you, then another lady will yell at you "can you get out and wait outside?" Had a friend coughing a little so asked for hot water - they charge $1 per cup. Saw another set of customers being yelled at "you cannot sit there!!!" to guys who just sat themselves because the wait staff again were simply ignoring customers walking in.
If you don't mind getting abused, go there but their food is seriously average and their level of service is beyond shocking.
If you’re one to find this place (hidden away in the bottom level of Regent Place), you must know what’s up.
I ended up at Senyai with Mr N and my sister needing a feed before a concert at the Metro, and where else would be more convenient than here? I was a bit weird to see we were the only people to walk into this quiet little restaurant, but with such a hidden location, I’m slightly not surprised.

The first time I entered this restaurant it instantly felt like I have been transported away from Sydney. The restaurant wall is fully decorated with authentic Thailand souvenirs and products, making it look much like a busy alley in Thailand. The location of the restaurant itself makes it more original, being it located along a narrow strip just off Kent St. Atmosphere wise, it is definitely a place worth visiting!
During my last visit for lunch I had a stir fried morning glory with rice, which is one of many popular dishes they have. It tasted good and the size of the food was pretty generous given the price.
The staffs are really helpful and friendly even during busy times. You should definitely give this place a try!
