Shangri-La Inn Restaurant

I celebrated a CNY dinner here and had a great time. The staff were all really friendly and patient with our table, considering we were loud and joking a lot. The staff never seemed to get annoyed with us, and always came around with a smile. I didn’t think much of the food though, thought it was rather average. We had the banquet and had one person on our table that was allergic to fish and they accommodated really well for that one person. I personally wouldn’t go back, but I would recommend this place if you’re after Chinese food as they have a good menu with plenty to choose from.

Great tasting Chinese cuisine. The flavor is mild and just right for the cuisine. Portions are also good. The ambience is very nice for the family. Nice chatter going on but not overly crowded. Clean place, can be a casual to fine dining place. Great restaurant with very hospitable people.

This is like your corner neighbourhood restaurant that almost always have a spot for you and family without having to make a booking (except during Chinese New Year).

The Malaysian-Chinese dishes are above average and well priced, which explains why it is popular for takeaways.

Come New Year, the chef put out some specials that is quite sensational for the money and well worth getting a gang together to book a table in advance.
