Shangrila Chinese Restaurant

We went there a few years ago, the experience was bad but thought will give this place a try again.But again absolutely regret the decision to ever dine at Shangri La ever again!!

It took a at least 3 tries with 3 different wait staff to get 3 glasses of water. Finally when we got it, the wait staff was soo rude, put the water jug and 3 empty glasses down grumpily and walked away.

We tried to order 2 dishes from a wait staff, left out a big sigh and mumbled under staff's breath. Staff end up only manage to bring out one dish out of the 2 dishes, and it was cold and a pretty bad fried radish cake, way too much pepper!!

Also, the food are full of MSG, as I was very very thirsty after the yum cha!

The place is very dirty, the ice cream bucket and the big container that collect all the dirty dishes looked very very dirty, I kind of lost appetite when I saw how dirty they are.

This will be the last time I will ever visit this restaurant!!

Fantastic YumCha. Being in S'bank they definitely cater more towards their Asian clientele which my wife loves (Hong Kong) yet they still bring enough of the more standard Western dishes around that it keeps me and the kids happy. Good food at a reasonable price and okay service. They do get VERY busy however so always book or turn up early.
