Shearers Arms Tavern

Shearers arms is a good family orientated place that caters to big families and functions,
The food: is very inconsistent in quality as they only have one chef sometimes working the shift, sunday breakfast is overly priced for the inconsistent food the bacons overcooked, pancakes undercooked, the eggs are still runny not scrambled, always running low or the food isnt served at the right temperature, not a huge variety or change of variety,
Dinner serving; you wait quiet some time for your food to be delivered to you 30-45mins wait if not longer depending on how busy the night is, sometimes the food is good and the next the food could be quite dry and not tasteful.
other than that the customer service is great the waittress are very friendly and always willing to help, just the quality of food needs a little lift

We ordered at 7.30 They lost our order so meals didnt come out until almost 8.30 so ended up eating half hour after everyone else. Then when it did come out had to send a meal back because it was why to dry. So really dont recommend going. I wont be going back.

This was the worst meal we have had, haven't been their for some time hoping it had improved, but was still the same. Will not be returning.

Bigger and cheaper meals compared to other Tavern.

I am new to the country so I don't mind the pub but apparently it has gone downhill and I can tell why... It is hard to get a beer, apparently the prices are going up again in the bar and the restaurant, and the English lads who did the karaoke have been discontinued... New management does not care for the locals
