Shearwater Restaurant

With a beautiful location & setting, this family owned restaurant delivers good food & friendly service. Share plates to start were delicious & stimulated the appetite. The seafood tasting plate had a good variety and the other with pork belly, grilled halloumi & ricotta croquettes were also delicious. Simple fish & chips had a crunchy coating & a generous serve. The steak was cooked perfectly as requested with a supet crispy prosciutto on top. Chicken was tender with a delicious sauce. A very enjoyable evening.

We had our wedding here back in May 2011. Our three course meal was amazing, all our guests commented how delicious everything was. The staff even bought out bread and dips upon arrival.



The waitstaff and bar staff were great. No problems at all, even when one of our guests got a bit rowdy.



Very reasonably priced. They didn't double the price when the word "wedding" was mentioned like a lot of places in Coffs. At the time they also had a BYO wine option. Beautiful spot right on the water, delicious food. We will be back again when we're in Coffs! Highly recommend booking here for group functions.

We love Shearwater. The kids love Shearwater. Sit back and relex watching the creek. They look after familys as well as couples and partys would recommend shearwater for any special occasion
