A hop across the road from the stunning Shoal Bay, the day spa for adults only has a lengthy list of treatments, a long thin indoor pool and three plunge pools â?? one with mineral water, one with 32 degree heated salt water, and a cool water plunge tub. I booked a stay at the Shoal Bay Spa & Resort on the 24th December and the 25th December 2012
First night I stayed was fine, the next day my family and I paid for a Gourmet Lunch Buffet in the amount of $175.00 and once we started to eat the meal we realized how disgusting it was. Firstly, Poultry Meat was mixed in with Dairy Meet, the seafood was not covered and dried up, after a few minutes we could not stomach the food and left, I approached a lstaff were I told staff about the issue and was offered no compensation and that I would have to Speak with the management, I did this on the day and Spoke with the management also said could not help me with this and that I had to take this up with the higher ...read more
Fantastic location across the road from Shoal Bay beach. The resort has great restaurants covering seafood, italian and buffet - and the best part?? KIDS CLUB! Let me tell you the absolute best holiday destination for Sydneysider parents who want a good escape from the hussle and bustle - the Kids club is fantastic. The staff are really good with the kids and this gives you peace of mind to go and enjoy a wonderful meal and a great glass of wine or two. The resort has two pools and a gorgeous spa that you can get lost in all day and just be pampered. We are regulars and our accomodation preference are the Seaspray villas - but all of the accomodation is really well appointed and looked after. A must to visit.
