No doubt about the friendly service although there was a bit of a mixup with one course been delivered to the wrong table. I can't say that the quantity (it was generous) made up for the lack of quality. I'm afraid this place is in a bit of a timewarp. I wouldn't worry about the lacklustre decor but the food didn't make up for it. The "steak" ordered by my 11 year old was a huge plate of stir fry meat in a rather unappetising sauce. It must be said that went for most of the food. Staff were very polite and friendly but perhaps downsizing the range of dishes on the menu and upping the quality would be great.
Firstly the waitstaff were great and very friendly. Two of the three meals were average but the last was exceptional. We first had a beansprout dish and it didn't disappoint with the amount of beansprouts in it. Second was sweet and sour and this was a little too sweet it was borderline sickly sweet. The third was a garlic combination and was absoulutely delicious. We shared these three dishes amongst three adults and had plenty to take home so the dishes are generous. Alcohol was reasonably priced and although the place is bare on scenic decorations, stuck in the bare 80's and in desperate need of a make over the food is quite good compared to other chinese rest's in the area.
TIP: if you want lots of vegetables in your dishes ask the waitstaff if the dish comes with such. Will go back again to dine.
