I found Simon's business to be rude, over priced and generally impersonal.
I brought my vehicle in for a quick check and was treated as if I was doing they were doing me a huge (expensive) favour.

What kind of service is this? Avoid.
After being recommended by my brother and his wife, i decided to take my 4wd to get serviced at Simon's. It ended up saving me a considerable sum (compared to the quote i got from where i bought the car). They were friendly and when i picked it up it was washed and ready on time. The service was explained to me by the mechanic who did it. Highly recommended.
I very rarely give reviews but in this case thought it was necessary. I own a late model Toyota Camry and two weeks ago I couldn't get it started. I live in the marrickville area and have previously used Simon's to re-gas my air conditioner on an older car I owned. I called them in the hope of some advice or help. They sent out a mechanic with a courtesy car and told me they would look at the problem and get back to me before performing any repairs. I was called later that afternoon and told that the problem could be fixed for $145. That was a lot lot less than I thought it would cost, considering that it was towed to their workshop. I agreed. The car was fixed. And it hasn't skipped a beat since. They were very very helpful, very thorough and it didn't cost me a fortune. I would recommend these guys to anyone.
