Skeetas

I reluctantly came here on a Tuesday because most other places in Geraldton after 5pm we’re closed. I ordered the pork belly. It arrived after 40 min (there were only 3 other ppl in the restaurant). There is a reason why there were only 3 customers here on such a gorgeous afternoon overlooking the tranquil marina. The “crackling” did not crackle as it was uncooked and still translucent - like the pigs ears you give to your pet dog to chew on. It was rock hard and inedible. I sent the meal back and the manager told me that it was cooked to perfection over 2.5 h. She refused to hear my feedback. I left, paying only for my beer. This is only my second experience in 7 months. I vowed after the first time to never return. I hope I remember this experience and stick to my word. I HIGHLY ENCOURAGE YOU LOOK ELSEWHERE.

ME AND FRIENDS WENT TO SKEETAS DAY BEFORE CHRISTMAS 2013. THE EXPEREIENCE TOGETHER WITH THE FOOD WAS VERY POOR. THE STAFF AT THE COUNTER WAS RUDE SOME HOW AGGRESSIVE WHEN WE TOLD THE STAFF THAT THE FISH WAS RAW IN THE MIDDLE. STAFF SAID THATS HOW THE FISH SHOULD BE, AS I AM A CHEF WITH MY OWN RESTAURANT, I COULD NOT BELEIVE THIS STAFF! THE STEAK BURGERS TASTED AWFULL, THE PIZZA WAS JUST A BASE WITH OIL EVEN THE WAIT STAFFS WERE APOLOGISING AND SAID THAT WE MADE A MISTAKE BY EATING THERE.

I WILL NEVER EVER WILL EAT THERE AND I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT TO ANYONE. ALSO VERY EXPENSIVE.

Great food on the foreshore. It's liscenced too.

Good location, with a nice view of the foreshore now that the railway has been removed. There is a massive kids playground acroos the road to take the kids before sitting down and also great to walk along the foreshore after the meal. The food was quite nice.
