Skillogalee Winery & Restaurant
Skillogalee is a small family-owned and operated winery set in one of the most picturesque parts of the Clare Valley. The fruit used in the wines is grown on Skillogalee’s own vineyards which are maintained on a sustainable farming basis. The wines are handmade by a father and son team.
Skillogalee has a vibrant cellar door tasting and sales facility along with our famous restaurant. Come and enjoy some of the best food in the valley along the veranda of our 160 year old cottage.
Located in Sevenhill, the restaurant sits on the winery. There is also a store as well. The restaurant is enclosed in a lovely stone building and if it was a warmer day the plastic protecting you from the elements on the verandah would've been up so you can have a stunning view of the trees and vineyards. There is also indoor seating if it's really cold and there are working fireplaces in them. It was slightly grey when we arrived but the weather definitely got better.

My partner and I decided to come here for their breakfast menu, after hearing great dinner reviews from friends and family. The setting is beautiful, we were sitting under a nice shady tree, so it was perfect for a summer breakfast. The menu certainly reflected the season. The baked eggs that I ordered were totally not what I expect, I just saw baked eggs and didn't read the menu description, but they were absolutely delicious! My partners baked pancake looked as good as it tasted, well from the one mouthful I tried. I will definitely be keen to go there next time I am in the Clare Valley for an actual meal.
