Snowtown Hotel

Looking for a stopover en route from Melbourne to Eyre Peninsula. Rang ahead and spoke to Phil, who said if we were expecting to arrive later than 8pm to let him know and he would ask the kitchen to prepare something for us.
Arrived 7pm to a warm welcome. Enjoyed Coopers on tap, some perfectly cooked steaks, took a walk to a nearby geocache then had a comfy night in a large en suite room.
Self serve cereal, toast , OJ and coffee for breakfast. Back on the road by 7am.
A comfy 12hrs stopover. Thanks Phil.

We decided to eat here the management when greeting us did not smile once the whole time we were there , we didnt feel very welcomed as a family it was not family friendly as they claim to be,and my children were very well behaved, in saying that the food was really nice and the staff serving our food was very customer friendly and gave us

Friendly bar service is given with cold beer on tap to be enjoyed in pleasant surroundings with good choice of music played on the jukebox. Spirits, & Wines also available. Beer garden & Poker Machines available. Bottle Shop is well stocked. The hotel has wheel chair access & facilities for the disabled available. Pub food is above fare & will satisfy the hungry tourist or locals seeking a night out away from the kitchen. Ample car parking available.

You might be mistaken from driving right past Snowtown as it is off the highway, but its a place not to be missed. The Pub with new owners Phil & Sherilee have got a great setup with warm & friendly hospitality. The rooms are recently refurbished & absolutely gorgeous with the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in on the road. Meals are generous, well priced & bloody tasty! They also support local live music which is absolutely fantastic for a small regional pub.So support them by popping in for a beer & a meal or to rest your weary head while on the road!
