Ordered lamb cutlets but prawn cutlets came out. At the checkout waitress put in wrong order. When i explained this no apologies and watress who delivered meal walked off. I then took meal to counter and when served again no apology only took my meal and swapped over with nothing said only a look of anger. Bar staff came over and i explained what was going on and was very helpful. I walked out spending $140 with poor service and below average meal. Not happy as i had the feeling they just wanted me to pay and go.
Nice club nextdoor to big4 Caravan park were we stayed but dont go to the bistro ..
.
Food is very very expensive , ordered a creamy garlic prawn dish which was $19 couldn't taste a thing, very very bland , just had no taste whatsoever, if the dish wasn't so expensive I wouldn't have returned it, but i did and told them to taste it as it was so so bland..and the manager said thats how the dish is supposed to be lol ,I ended up getting a spinach and ricotta ravioli in tomato sauce in exchange which I had about 4 to 5 pieces and just left it as it was like chewing on a texture of cardboard plastic....the only taste was the tomato sauce....My wife and kids shared a similar experience....the kids fish cocktails were not even real fish , it was like a processed fish...disgusting , any way I spent $54 for nothing, we went to Mcdonalds asap to get a decent feed....I was disgusted...
Very nice, cosy little club with plenty of parking, the staff are very friendly and helpful. The bistro is HUGE and the meals though I found a little *high priced* were very nice, big generous servings - the swordfish with chips and salad was delicious, the service was excellent, tables clean and tidy. Definitely recommend the desserts on offer, reasonably priced as well, have paid $10 per slice in other bistros, so $7.00 was pretty good.
