SOLE E LUNA ITALIAN RESTAURANT

We have been to Sole e Luna before and we were looking forward to another enjoyable Italian meal after a hard all-day bike ride. We have booked ahead for a table for 3. We were shown to our table but informed that there were no menus available - but they would get them too us soon. After 15 minutes, no menus for us but a pile of them on a table next to us. We took three and that's when the trouble started. We were accused, by the woman in charge, of sitting down without a booking. We were then told that "we should not have taken the menus but waited until they were handed to us". When we tried to explain, we continued to be accused. She walked off without apologising (but grudgingly let us retain the menus) - not a good start.

This restaurant was packed when we arrived, good sign. The service was great and the food excellent. Highly recommended and we will surely return. One of the best.
