Spec - Air Specialized Heating Cooling

Extremely poor service. They installed our ducted heating and it didnt work. Came back twicw and still couldnt fix it. And every appointment is very hard to get. Office women said to me "It is not a life and death matter right? We are very busy"

I was heavily pregnant, unwell and freezing in winter. no, it is not a life and death matter, but I expect the problem to be fixed the first time they got here. took them half a year! We are installing ducted cooling now and will NOT and NEVER use them!

I called Spec - Air for service and repair to our Brivis ducted heating system. The heating was working until the temperature reached 20 degrees and then it switched off. Person on reception was very friendly and helpful and organised a timely appointment. Serviceman arrived as arranged. He went into the roof to inspect the heating unit and complete a service. When he was done he assured me the unit was fine and it was the thermostat that needed replacing because it was old, and that would remedy the problem. Based on his opinion that the unit was fine and that the thermostat was the problem, I told him to install the new thermostat at $150. I later discovered that Brivis charge only $60 for this thermostat. Together with the service call of $190 I paid a total of $340. Later that day it was obvious the problem had not been fixed because the unit was still cutting out at 20 degrees. Our first contact seemed good and said they would try and arrange for installation on the 28th June but that staff was heading overseas and someone would contact us. End of good part of story. After no-one had contacted us for several days and much confusion as to whether which office was looking after the job.. They did not know anything about the job and we had to end up scanning the quote and sending it to them as there was no record. After this theyl did not pick-up the phone, answer phone messages etc. Finally they call and say that someone will be doing our job. We make a time with this person and calls up the night before to see if we can change it. We said no worries. I get a call from my wife saying they now say we need an electrician, so I leave work and come home to see what the problem is. For some reason this person has some serious attitude problem with me.
