A pretty disappointing first
interaction with these guys. While the professionalism & the quality of the workshop is commendable, there was a lack of 'customer regard'. For someone with a bit of mechanical knowledge of their own vehicle could see that they're just looking to squeeze an extra dollar out of you.
I'm aware of the seriousness and importance of a 'blueslip' being done properly but I felt cheated.
There were numerous faults with the car that were listed by the mechanic & I was assured the car could pass once they're fixed.
I returned the following week having fixed all the listed faults but was told I'd now be up for a fee for a part that was never mentioned before. ...read more
Thankyou for the first positive comment. Im sorry you felt like we where chasing you for more money, as this was most certainly not the case.. We did miss the noisey wheel bearing on the first inspection, but how would you have felt if we missed it the second inspection and your wheel bearing had failed on the freeway. Yes we recommended a new wheel bearing instead of a second hand one and always will. We like to guarantee our work and cant do that with second hand parts. If it happened again, i feel we would do the same, as people prefer to know rather than say "why didnt you tell me". Your account did include 2 new tyres, a wheel alignment, blue slip and the wheel bearing. We like to pride ourselves on customer service, and feel dissapointed that you felt this way after your first interaction with us.
