Absolutely true!. ..I am aregular customer there and at first I thought maybe the old ladies within the fabric section were having a bad day but this seems to be normal behaviour for them. Today was just unbelievable... Long queue within fabric section. Yet, the grey haired lady was keener to discuss her personal stories with exiting customers "Oh, my husband said that...' the other elderlly lady with bob hair was very good thugh, chuning out as quickly as she could but this one seems to have a problem working at spotlight altogether! which I don't mind but at least keep your greivances discreet in front of customers. I was shocked when I I heard her complaining about ' how things are around here' ( which is her favourite line apparently as I have heard her saying that on my multiple visits) and I was right in front as a customer ! She is usually the ones attending customers with sewing machines as well and I once had to wait for her 10 minute conversation to end ...read more
Customer Service = Non Existant.
Terrible... just terrible.
The older ladies (& i have NO PROBLEMS with the older gen) serving the Fabric section seem to have no people skills nor any interest in assisting one find anything at all. In fact I will stand there for ages and not get acknowledged at all even though i'm staring straight at them.
The balloons section is almost as bad.
Spotlight is not what I remember it to be when i would accompany my mother when i was a child. She used to be a dressmaker (hobby) and they actually had customer service in those days.
The store is an absolute shambles too. I couldn't access most areas or had to go through what seemed like a maze to get to a particular area with my pram.
A deep disappointment.
I can't believe how difficult it is to get some bloody curtains made!!! Spotlight management-take note!!! Your on road consultant can never be reached and its been weeks. Your in house consultant never picks up the phone and doesn't know how to use their email.
I'm going elsewhere to get curtains for my house made. This is a joke-its like you'll are doing me a favour. Thanks very much.
We went in to get some curtains for our new house and had the misfortune of dealing with a staff. I am not sure if she knows that the way she worded some things came off rude. She also seemed to have problems calling us back. Thankfully the guy that came out to do the measuring was pleasant.
