Spotlight Slacks Creek has horrible customer service particularly in the Fabric Area !!! Majority of employees there are female who have attitude. Does not show any enthusiasm when serving customers and don’t even look like they want to help you. Looks annoyed when you ask for help and just walks pass customers like they’re not there. No hello, no how can I help you. Very unwelcoming environment and unpleasant experience. I recommend shopping in another store, don’t waste your time here, you will only walk out with feelings of frustration. The only employees with good customer service are the ones serving at the front checkout!
Spotlight Slacks Creek if you want returning customers please get new employees (especially FABRIC SECTION) who actually look and act like they value their job !!!!
Whilst at the checkout I was asked if I had a VIP card and I didn't have it on me but the cashier did try and look me up in the system. Unfortunately he couldn't find me (which is weird because another cashier found me in the system the week before). The items I were buying had a discount if I had a VIP card and because he couldn't find me in the system he didn't offer any alternatives, eg; check my email, sign up again. Luckly another shopper offered me her card to use, but if she hadn't I don't think the cashier would have done anything about it, thus wouldn't allowing me to get a discount.
It seems that every Spotlight store that I have visited, is the same when it comes to staff. None seem happy, or willing to help you. None seem to know anything about the section they are working in. You would think that if someone is on a cutting table, that they may be able to offer assistance with regard to how much fabric to cut. Maybe it's covering themselves so as not to be blamed for a wrong amount, but staring blankly at you with a shrug, is certainly not customer service.
Not the easiest shop to enter as its on the top level and access Is via escalator or lift. Some of the aisles are narrow so wheelchair and pram access is difficult.
They do have a big range of stock.
I just wish there was an alternative to this shop
