What an absolute bunch of amateurs this mob are. I've been going there for 4 and a half years. Yesterday I tested positive for Covid 19 and I am required to self isolate at home for 7 days. I have been contacted by Covid Care who said I qualify for the anti viral drug to treat Covid 19 and they said they will send an email to St Andrews Medical Centre to action today and they will email the script to my local pharmacy for them to deliver to my home. Firstly St Andrews booked me in for Friday not today (Wednesday) and only after my phone call did they book me in a telehealth booking for today but they said they don't email scripts and someone would have to pick it up. Well my whole family are self isolating with Covid 19 so I have no one who can do this. What a bunch of amateurs you lot are. Hand in your resignation and find another job because you clearly don't have your patients best interests at heart.

I have been going to this doctor surgery for over 15 years. Sadly after a terrible experience with a receptionist we won't be returning. To my disbelief this particular receptionist became aggressive toward my wife raising her voice so everyone in the waiting room could hear what she was saying. This was over a booking miscommunication where they were actually at fault. She demanded money and refused her to see a doctor until we paid $50 for a missed appointment from about 2-3months prior.
This appointment wasn't missed, it was actually rescheduled for an hour earlier. My wife had originally booked online the night before but wanted to change the time of the appointment so called the surgery to change the appointment for an hour earlier. I am only new to the area and was looking for a doctor as I was really unwell. I rang around and no one seemed to want to help. Once i called st Andrews the staff whom i spoke to was kind and sympathetic! once i got there all the staff members where either busy with patients or on the phones. I personally got to speak to two lovely ladies who got me in to see such a lovely doctor who's advice was great.
since then i have had nothing but a great experience with St Andrews and would highly recommend it to to anyone, specially with same day appointments and the ability to book online!

My doctor is fantastic and looks after our whole family, a real family doctor. I can make appointments on the day and they bulk bill. Busy surgery but I'm always treated well at the desk.

I was pleasantly surprised when I first attended to find that St Andrews Medical bulk bills. The reception staff really do leave a lot to be desired regarding their P.R. They seem to lack the skills and I always feel on edge when having to call to make an appointment. Worse still when I arrive for my appointment and stand waiting until they are ready to attend. I understand that at times they are busy but for the most part the reception staff lack personality and give the impression that they are doing the patient a favour.
