St Vincent De Paul Society

You can't beat Vinnies as both a place to donate your unwanted items, and to pick up something to wear, or to use. I love the fact that you can donate, and someone else will appreciate your unwanted goods. The money raised supports charities. I bought some lovely silverware here, a teapot, jug and sugar bowl, all silver. It was a wedding gift for my neighbour's daughter, I was not invited to the wedding, which is fine, but I wanted to pass on a gift. There's something funky about giving a used gift a new home.
